Creston faces a critical shortage of attainable housing due to decades of limited diversification in housing development. We recognize the pressing need for housing options that cater to a broad range of income levels and meet diverse individual needs.

To address this challenge, the Town of Creston has established a municipal housing corporation—an independent entity focused on developing and operating housing to better serve our community. We are currently recruiting board members to guide this corporation's mission and impact.

    Thank you for your questions. The Creston Valley Housing Corporation recently held its Annual General Meeting and elected the following individuals to its Board of Directors:

    • Lawrence Fisher
    • Anne Jackson
    • Dina Bambrick
    • John Atkins
    • Penelope Cavanagh
    • Monique Ares
    • Denis Dumas
    • Arnold DeBoon

    A website is not yet available, but we do plan to have one down the road as things get moving. In the meantime, we’ll be sharing more details in an upcoming press release—stay tuned for updates on our website.
